New Battlestar Galactica

The SciFi Channel is making a re-make of the classic 70s TV show. Only one small problem: Lt. Starbuck is FEMALE! Now, I'm sure the woman is a fine actor and all (wait this is a SciFi channel production... scratch that) but c'mon, don't ruin my childhood like George Lucas has! After doin some searching of the show's page I found this reason for the sex change. Great. Thanks. Does this mean if he (Apollo) pisses her off she's not gonna shoot down that Cylon that's about to vaporize his ass? Bastards. First Mystery Science Theater goes bye-bye, then Farscape, now this. All in favor of shooting the head of Sci-Fi and putting someon in charge who *knows* Science Ficton? Motion passed.
