Today is my birthday

I turn 26 today. Older? Yes. Wiser? Probably not. Click here to see who I share a birthday with...

Upcoming movie news/rants

New Punisher Teaser Trailer is up you can find it here. One question that all you comic-philes out there can answer for me: Why the heck would you wear a big-ass bright white skull on the front of your chest?? I know there's the intimidation factor and all, unless the Punisher is immortal. Is he?

Well, it was only a matter of time. They're making a movie about 9/11. The kicker? The guy who played Dubya (Timothy Bottoms) on "That's My Bush!" is going to play Dubya in the new movie(s). I put the possible plural there for a good reason. According to the IMDb, there are two 9/11 movies being made. With the same cast no less! They are titled: The Big Dance and DC 9/11. Seriously though do we need any hollywood movies about this yet? I still get a little choked up when I see the planes slam into the buildings. I taped the 9/11 special (the one filmed by the French documentary company, shown on CBS) months ago and haven't had the guts to watch it. Hollywood had the good sense to wait 30 years after Pearl Harbor to make a movie about it. Let's take a step back and take a deep breath for a decade or so.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has a new writer-director attached to it... good luck Garth Jennings, whoever you are. Party on Garth! ( What? It needed to be said...)

Dude Where's My Batmobile? will probably be the title of the next Batman movie now that Ashton Kutcher is attached to play the caped crusader. But let's pray that bastion of news, E! online is wrong(second article down).

If you haven't read Jim's rant about LXG, The League and/or The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Do so. All I have to say about this steaming dog turd is I'll see it in the Dollar Saver Theater if at all.

T3: um... Pass.

Last but not least, I'll probably go see Hulk tonight. I'll try to post a review later.
