I knew the Frenchies were involved in 9/11!

Follow me if you will:

When Charlemagne died he split up the Holy Roman Empire between his three warring sons. This leads to the Alsace-Lorraine dispute. (Alsace-Lorraine is the border between France and Germany). This, of course, is an indirect cause of World War I (See also: Franco-Prussian War). World War I is a direct cause of World War II, when the victors gave Germany, et al, the shaft. World War II leads to creation of Israel. The creation of Israel over the state of Palestine is the cause of terrorism and hence 9/11. Stupid Charlemagne.
Note this is just purely in fun and the idea was unabashedly stolen from this comic. And the Dan Patrick Show's case for McPherson's claim to the national title. Go Bulldogs!
