Everything I need to know about life I learned from Leo McGarryThere are two things in this world you don't want people to see how you make them: Laws and Sausages * The word "thing" can be a good substitute for any other word * We play the full nine innings at this level * It's ok to use a marine in full dress uniform to influence someone as long as the marine isn't supposed to be guarding something important * Give people a second chance, you never know when you might need one * "Act as if ye have faith and faith will be given to you. In other words, fake it until you make it" * It's good for co-workers to blow of steam from time to time but don't go to far * Sometimes, just the threat of hiding snakes in someone's car is good enough * We do not strut * Khaddafi is spelled with one 'h' and 2 'd's and is not a 7-letter word for anything * If an enemy rebuilds something after we blew it up, we'll blow it up again. We're getting real good at it. * "Everybody falls down holes from time to time...and sometimes you just gotta jump in." * Sometimes it "ain't nothin' but a family thing" * "Andrew Jackson had this big block of cheese..." I meant to do this since John Spencer's passing in December but kept putting it off. With the end of West Wing, I thought that this would be the second most appropriate time. Any suggestions for additions are most welcome. Thursday, May 11, 2006

Message from my secret mastersWhile passing the time tonight, I was playing a web game called text twist. Basically you get six letters and you try to form three to six letter words as fast as you can. The letters in the picture below are by pure randomness. So does this mean I should bury the $3125.00 in my backyard? Or am I already in trouble for mentioning the word? ![]() Of course, this also means I need to come up with the $3125 and a cigar box. FINALLY!On September 12th Lucasfilm will do what every fan has been begging him to do since they saw Greedo shoot first. Release the original theatrical versions on DVD. Basically if, like me, have not purchased the Luke and Leia trilogy on DVD yet. This will be your calling. You get two discs, one will have the remastered edited and added version from 2004 and then the unaltered 1977, 1980 and 1983 versions of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Mind you there are some of the additions I don't mind, nay even like about the 2004 version, but I really, really didn't like Greedo shooting first. It doesn't matter, I have a new master now ;)
