Best. DVD Collection. Evar.

Well, almost. I just picked up the "Looney Tunes Golden Collection" today. Its got some very funny and classic shorts. 4 DVDs, One for Bugs, One for Daffy and Porky and two for the rest. Although Bugs finds his way on to each disk. Two of the "Duck Season! Rabbit Season!" shorts, plus the classic "Feed the Kitty", which is an all time favorite of mine. This is the one where a dog named Marc Antony adopts a kitten and keeps him hidden from his mistress and thinks she baked the kitty into cookies and the facial expressions are a classic. This was also copied for the trash compactor scene in Monsters Inc. . On the DVD are commentaries, music only tracks, featurettes. Two glaring ommisions that need to be on the next collection, first "What's Opera Doc?" and second, Robin Hood Daffy. But this is not to say I'm unhappy with the collection. First they are uncut which means they left the suicide scene in "Tortise Wins by a Hare" and the Russian Roulette scene in "Ballot Box Bunny". I'm sure that there are other scenes that were cut for "the sake of the children" or for PC reasons but I'm glad they're in here.
